A new challenging game to Empower woman inclusive for Lifelong Learning in Islamic World: A case of Pattani community-based enterprises in Thailand

Limitation to earn educational affiliates for Muslim women is widely known for many years. Restrictions on women’s access to formal education, such as The Taliban has banned female students from attending high school. have continued since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan.

However, that might be different in Pattani province, Thailand. with the government policy and sponsor for Southern Boarder of Thailand, there is a women’s development fund in Pattani province that supports projects by women’s groups in the community. Working closely with women’s networking activities, there are projects that focus on career development and income for women. The success group of women community enterprise, for example, Panare Women’s Community Enterprise Group by gathering together groups of women who are single mothers and vulnerable groups in the area to participate in activities to generate income for the community. A group of “Bara Hom” female youths in Pattani who use soft power: local clothes and eco-tourism program, to create income and distribute it to the local area. This is an example of success in driving the community economy with the power of the new generation of women which is important in generating income and strengthening the economy in the community. The group succeeds in driving the community economy with the power of the new generation of women, who could empower themselves to develop knowledge balancing between Islamic beliefs and life-long learning inclusive strategies. This is a new dimension of learning paradigm in developing gender equality and sustainably life-long learning.
